Getting Here

488 Tweed Valley Way, South Murwillumbah, NSW 2484, Australia

Less than 2 hours drive and 135km from downtown Brisbane, and 20 minutes drive or less from most Gold Coast localities, Greenhills Caravan Park is perfect for an overnight break from the road or as a base to explore the region on a longer stay.

Southbound from Brisbane and Gold Coast QLD:

Follow the Pacifc Motorway M1 southbound across the border toward Chinderah.  Past Chinderah, take the Tweed Valley Way* exit left to Murwillumbah and Tourist Drive 40.  Stay on the Tweed Valley Way to Murwillumbah.

Proceed through one roundabout (with the industrial estate and airfield to the left), and continue along the Tweed Valley Way through a second roundabout with the old railway station and Murwillumbah Visitor Information Centre on the left.

Don't turn right at the roundabout, or you'll end up going across the bridge and into Murwillumbah!

About 1.3km further along Tweed Valley Way, the caravan park is on the left, just past Guinea's Fruit & Vege shop.

*Please note: Some GPS/Maps may advise using Clothiers Creek Road exit further south.  This road is narrow and winding in places, and is unsuitable except for sedans, station wagons and small camper vans.

Northbound via Pacific Highway/A1 | Murwillumbah NSW

Follow the Pacific Mwy/M1 northbound and take the exit towards Tweed Valley Way/Brunswick Valley Way, Murwillumbah / Tourist Drive 40 just after Billinudgel.  The Yelgun Rest Area will be on your right.

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Tweed Valley Way.

Follow the signs for Tweed Valley Way and Murwillumbah.

The caravan park entrance is on the right approximately 300 metres north of Mistral Road, and signs to the Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Arts Centre.

Tweed Valley Way northbound is the old Pacific Highway, so it is suitable for large vehicles.  But it is hilly and winding in places, so if you prefer a flatter route, then continue on the M1/ Pacific Motorway northbound to Caltex Chinderah exit with the Tweed Valley Way and signs for Murwillumbah, then proceed southbound as above.

Please note: Some GPS/Maps may advise using Clothiers Creek Road exit prior to the Chinderah exit.  Some sections of Clothiers Creek Road are narrow and winding, and maybe unsuitable except for sedans, station wagons and small camper vans only.

Eastbound via Summerland Way | Kyogle NSW:

Head north via Kyogle on Summerland Way/B91 towards George St.  Turn right onto Kyogle Rd and then turn right again to stay on Kyogle Rd for 59 km.

Some GPS/Maps may advise using Bakers Road:

This is a shorter scenic route, but it is a hilly, narrow and winding road, unsuitable except for sedans, station wagons and small camper vans.

Just before the Byangum Bridge over the Tweed River, turn right onto Bakers Rd for 4.2 km.  Continue onto Mistral Rd for 1.1 km.  (You'll pass Tweed Regional Gallery).

Turn left onto Tweed Valley Way, and the caravan park is on your right about 110m north.  Check in to reception on arrival.

Via Murwillumbah:

Slightly longer, but most suitable route for all cars towing caravans/camper trailers, large camper vans, Coasters and RVs.

Continue on Kyogle Rd through Bray Park and into Murwillumbah along Riverview Street, until Wollumbin Street.

Turn right onto Wollumbin St, proceeding east, and continue straight through a round-about, then a set of pedstrian traffic lights.  Proceed through a second roundabout and cross the bridge, and then turn right onto Tweed Valley Way at the third roundabout.

Proceed south for approximately 2 kilometres until you see a RTA advisory sign for a campground, with Guinea's Fruit & Vege shop on the left, and the roadside sign for Greenhills Caravan Park almost immediately after.  Turn left into the park, and check in to reception on arrival.
